Children can sharpen their science skills, explore a favorite topic or investigate new interests –and most importantly, have fun while they learn! Bringing children and nature together for summer fun! Weekly activities include, hiking, boating, canoeing, archery, and nature walks. Themes include Foliage (friend or foe), Cute & Creepy Creatures, Wilderness survival, Environmental concerns, Natural food sources, Art and the natural world. Field Trips include: Mount Gretna, Hershey Park, Roller Skating, Mini Golf, Rocky Springs, Sickman's Mill, Muddy Run, Indian Echo Caverns and Tobias Wildlife Park. Day Camp runs from 9am-3:30pm for kids age 6-13. Before/after camp care is available for an additional charge. $110/week or $30/day includes breakfast, lunch, transportation from 5 city locations, swimming at Conestoga Pines Pool, most field trips and a t-shirt. By experiencing a wide variety of sports, children can gain self-confidence and self-esteem in a climate of teamwork and fair play. Sports include, baseball, hockey, soccer, football, basketball, track and field, roller skating and volleyball. Day Camp is held 6:30am-6pm.
